Refund policy

At MG AutoTech, we strive to provide high-quality products and professional automotive services. Please review our return and refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Returns for Physical Products

We offer a 14-day return policy for physical goods. This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition
- It must be returned in the original packaging with all included accessories
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

A restocking fee of up to 25% may be applied to returned items to cover handling, inspection, and processing costs.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us without delay. We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution, such as replacement or refund where applicable.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:
- Used or installed products
- Custom-made or special-order items
- Sale items and gift cards
- Digital products and services


4. ECU Unlock, Tuning & Digital Services (Important)

All ECU unlock services, tuning services, and any other digital or vehicle-specific automotive services are strictly non-refundable.

These services are customized and tailored to each individual vehicle. Once the service process has started or any required data (such as ECU files or vehicle information) has been submitted, cancellations and refunds are no longer possible.

By purchasing such services, the customer agrees that:
- The service is customized and cannot be resold
- The right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) is waived once the service execution has begun
- No refunds, returns, or cancellations will be accepted after the process has started or completed


5. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For physical goods shipped within the European Union, customers have the right to cancel or return their order within 14 days without providing a reason.

However, this right does not apply to:
- Digital services once performance has started
- Customized or vehicle-specific services (such as ECU unlock and tuning)


6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment  method within 10 business days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
